| 1st VICE Gary Reidel
Gary was born in Northfield, Minnesota and move to Port Angeles in 1953. Gary has lived in Port Angeles since then. He attended and graduated from Port Angeles schools and started work at the plywood mill right out of school.
Gary has been married to his wife, Linda for 43 years. They have a daughter and son and grandchildren.
Gary has been in sales since 1967, both at a retail store for 30 years and in car sales for 12 years.
He joined the Port Angeles Lions club in 1968 and has been:
- 100% club President three times
- 100% club secretary three times
- Distinguished Zone Chairman in 1983-84
- Zone Chairman for a portion of the year in 2008-09
He has served in many positions for MD19, and as a presenter at the International Convention in 1992. Gary a Life member and a Melvin Jones Fellow.

2nd VICE Al Beddows
Al was born in Woodstock, Ontario and moved to British Columbia as a baby. He grew up in Chemainus, wherein school, he was voted most likely to end up in a Penitentiary.
He worked in Chemainus sawmills before moving to Vancouver to attend Vancouver Vocational Institute. He worked for CP telecommunications, in various locations. In 1975 he started working for the Dockyard in communications.
Al moved to Sooke in 1990 and joined the Sooke Lions. He moved to Cobble Hill and joined the Malahat Lions, then moved back to Sooke after 2 year and rejoined the Sooke club.
Al has held the positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer. He was Zone Chair 2007-2008. He is Chairperson for the Camp Shawnigan Improvement Committee. He has had the honor of receiving a Brian Stevenson Award and an International President's Certificate.
In 2003, he married his wife Jane. They are very involved with their blended families of 2 sons, 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
