Club History
We received our Charter (008008) on Dec 19, 1955, sponsored by the Port Angeles Lions. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.

Meetings
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation.

Club Activities
Our club projects and activities include:

  • highway clean-up along a 2-mile stretch of Highway 101 just east of Sequim several times a year
  • pancake breakfast during the Sequim Irrigation Festival in May; sponsor Christmas bazaar 1st Saturday in December
  • recycle eyeglasses; provide eye exams and eyeglasses for needy citizens; build handicap-ramps; award scholarships; etc.

We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and Olympic Peninsula WA. We are in Zone 1 which also includes: Clallam Bay - Sekiu, Crescent Bay, Forks, Port Angeles, Quilcene and Port Townsend Lions Clubs.
