Club History
We received our Charter (007982) on May 4, 1951, sponsored the Victoria Central Lions. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.
Meetings
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday 6:00 PM. We go into recess for the summer months.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation.

- Eye Glass Recycle Station
We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and Olympic Peninsula WA. We are in Zone 2 which also includes: Capital City, Royal Oak, Saanich, Sooke Lions, Sooke District Lioness, Sooke Lioness Lions, Victoria - Central, Victoria - Chinatown, Victoria - Imperial and Westshore Lions Club (formerly Metchosin and South Van Isle clubs).
