Club History
We received our Charter (00769) on April 20, 1959, sponsored by the Nanaimo Lions Club. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.

Meetings
We meet on the 2nd Monday, Lions Den @7:30pm and 4th Monday, Rosebowl Rest. @7:00pm. We go into recess for the summer months.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation.

Club Activities
Our club projects and activities include:

  • Scholarship Bursaries
  • Assists in Tahsis Walk
  • Annual Christmas Party for Seniors
  • Annual Curling Bonspiel
  • Senior Housing
  • Service Bars for Community

We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and Olympic Peninsula WA. We are in Zone 5 which also includes: Black Creek, Gold River, Tahsis and Willow Point Lions Clubs.
