Club History
We received our Charter (007967) on September 24, 1955, sponsored by the Nanaimo Lions Club. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects.
Meetings
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 pm. We go into recess for the summer months.

Mission Statement of Lions Club International
To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation.

We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and Olympic Peninsula WA. We are in Zone 7 which also includes: Gabriola Island, Nanaimo, Nanaimo - Hub City, Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Parksville Lioness, Protections Island and Ucluelet Lions Clubs.
