Club History We received our Charter (055177) on January 8, 1993, sponsored by the Campbell River Lions Club. Since then we have been involved in many community, regional, national and international projects. Meetings We meet on the last Monday 11:30 AM. We go into recess for the summer months. Mission Statement of Lions Club International To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international co-operation. Club Activities Our club projects and activities include: We are part of Lions Clubs International in Multiple District 19, which includes clubs in British Columbia, Washington, and Northern Idaho. We are in District "I" which encompasses Vancouver Island BC and Olympic Peninsula WA.
